For Framed TV Mirrors and TV Frame Only
For most of our frame mouldings, we suggest mount the TV so the bottom edge of the TV is 6″ or more from the mantle. If the frame moulding you have selected is greater than 5″ wide, you may want mount the TV an extra 1-2″ higher.
Following this guideline will typically result in the bottom of the final frame being about 1-2″ from the mantle. If you would like to see more of the wall below the frame, then you’ll want to mount the TV higher on the wall.
